Aibetic external privacy policy

Aibetic AB (Org. no. 559183-5565) (“Aibetic”) recognizes the importance of data protection and is committed to maintaining appropriate protection of personal data and complying with applicable data protection laws and regulations.  This privacy policy applies to representatives and contact persons of Aibetic’s customers, suppliers and other business partners (“you”) and informs you how your personal data is processed by Aibetic.

Personal data collected by Aibetic

Aibetic collects and processes personal data that are provided to Aibetic in connection with your business relations with Aibetic. Personal data may also be collected if you subscribe for newsletters or if you register for waiting list for the product, information regarding Aibetics products or similar events. Personal data collected and processed by Aibetic include e.g. name and contact information.

Processing of your personal data by Aibetic

Aibetic processes personal data for business related purposes and for administrating and maintaining agreements and business relations with Aibetic’s customers, suppliers and business partners. Personal data may also be processed in order to send newsletters and information about Aibetics products. When processing personal data for these purposes, Aibetic relies on legitimate interests. Aibetic has a strong interest in maintaining business relationships with other companies and organisations and Aibetic only processes your business-related information as a representative or contact person of such company or organization. 

Aibetic may for purposes described above disclose your personal data to competent authorities, business partners or service provides. If a business partner or a service provider is located in a country outside the EU/EEA, your personal data may be transferred to a country which may not have data protection laws as strict as those in the EU/EEA.  In these cases, Aibetic will put in place appropriate safeguards to protect your personal data in connection with the transfer. You can any time contact us for more information on such transfers and the safeguards put in place.

Aibetic retains personal data as long as there is a business relation with the company or organization that you represent or otherwise as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose of the processing. Personal data will also be retained as long as required by laws, regulations or decisions by authorities. You may at any time unsubscribe from receiving press releases, newsletters and similar information and your information will thereafter not be retained for such purposes.

Your rights and questions 

With limited exceptions, you have the right to request information about what personal data that Aibetic holds about you and request inaccurate information to be corrected. In some circumstances and in accordance with applicable law, you may have the right to request that all your personal data is erased or that the processing of your personal data is restricted. Furthermore, you may have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and to request that your personal data is transferred in a machine-readable format to another controller.
